At OB GYN Specialists of Lima, we care for women in all stages of life and have served multiple generations in Allen County, Ohio
Our focus is caring for women during all stages of their life, from adolescence through menopause. We are an independent group practice located in Lima, Ohio. The care we provide includes normal and high-risk obstetrics, all gynecological care, such as robotic surgery, endometrial ablation, treatment for bladder conditions, and 3-D/4-D ultrasound.
We serve all of Lima and the surrounding counties, including Allen, Putnam, Auglaize, Hardin, and Kenton. We are the largest practice in Northwest Ohio. We are an independent practice, operating at both Mercy Health\St. Rita’s and Lima Memorial Hospitals but not employed by either.
We are associated with: Ohio State Medical Association, American Medical Association, American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), and Allen County Medical Association. Our M.D.’s are board certified.
We have been providing excellent care to women since 1976
This office has a rich history of providing excellent care to the women in and around the Lima area. The practice was founded by Dr. Todd Stallkamp in 1976 and he continued to practice until 1999.
Dr. James Kahn and Dr.Charles Ryan both joined the practice and remained here until their retirement in 2014.
Dr. Scherger joined the practice in 1991 after having practiced as a family doctor in Lima and remained here until his retirement in 2021.
Since then Dr.’s Scott and Vanessa Stallkamp (brother and sister-in-law) joined in 1999.
Dr. Tammy Herrick returned to the area in 2012 and Dr.’s Rumschlag and Kreider joined the group in 2013 and Dr. Langhals joined our group August 2022.
We are also happy to have two Nurse Practitioners, both Meredith Warnecke, WHNP and Allison Douglas, CNP joined the practice in 2017. We also added another Nurse Practitioner to the practice, Courtney Fike in 2020.
All of the physicians and staff are very proud of the practice’s longevity and reputation of excellence in the community.
